16th Century Manor House

This iron made toilet based on one of the originals cost a fair bit of money and it came in metal primed but was down to our team to add the finishing touches to it.

This was painted with a Zinsser Allcoat Satin in a Farrow and Ball colour called ‘Downpipe’ to match the Farrow and Ball ‘Downpipe’ Eggshell that we have applied to all skirts and architraves in downstairs hall, wc, and plant room etc.

Zinsser Allcoat is absolutely fantastic for wood or metal products. We painted all the facias, gutters and Downpipes on the whole outside of Manor House and barns and outbuildings. It resists flaking, peeling, cracking etc and contains biocides which resist mould build up so this was the perfect product for this job.

We eventually painted the two underside brackets plus the pull chain to give the client an option of having either or the two supplied.
