16th Century Manor House

This is the main entrance hall to Manor House which is painted in the same colours as the main stairwell to property.

We eventually repainted the ceiling so it matched the walls which gave a more sultry look . You have to be expected to change things / colour palettes on old buildings like these as somethings work on paper but just don’t give the right look in the building.

The client initially chose green for the main hallway then we changed it to blue which he really liked and it just worked. He then wanted that blue in the main entrance which is what we are applying here.

The red room is the dining room and don’t be shocked to find sometimes you might have to sheet areas off as decorators to protect certain paint works as these buildings throw up numerous problems as you go through these types of builds with Grade listed properties.
