Outside Car Port at 16th Century Manor House

Pure Design and Build’s team of highly skilled carpenters have built this solid structure from scratch.

The main structure is made from precision cuts of Oak and the upright A frames are made from Douglas Furr. The outside has been cladded in cedar redwood and the roof structure will be natural shingle wood roof.

Our team at Stuart Elliott Decorators have been instructed to stain all the internals on this structure in the roof space.

We are using an oil based stain from Sadolin ‘Ebony Black’so that all the natural grains of the Douglas Furr come out and the client can see the beauty of the wood.

I think you will agree that this is a very complicated Staining project but we are now nearly there with 1 day to go.

This has been a 6 week project for the carpenters and quite a few days for some of our decorators.

Good job well done by all. I will update the finished pictures as and when finished. I’m sure the client will be over the moon.
